[ATT] ADBlocker Blocker... Blocker.. It's time.

After warning and telling people we would do this... we finally decided it's time.
You are now unable to visit the EmuDevs Forum unless you have adblocker disabled on it.

Nobody is asking you to disable it completely:

If you think "oh I will just disable javascript":

Sorry folks, this was decided because we 100% rely on donations and ad revenue to keep the website alive.

If you have 2 cents, feel free to speak your mind.

Let this be a reminder. We aren't forcing ads on anyone, nor have we ever. The fact that you can disable specific sites on adblock and a lot of our members still have us blocked is frustrating. EmuDevs is not the only site we have that have ads either. We have our service sites such as Generator and WowDB that have their own ads. It would be appreciated if we could be supported by our members unblocking those subsites too. This is becoming a serious issue and being quite-frank we aren't tolerating it anymore (as Faded pointed out).

We're here to bring you a fantastic experience and all we ask is to be supported no matter what. Support our services/projects by whitelisting EmuDevs and our associated sites. The more money we earn, whether it be from donation or ads, the more we can introduce new features, keep EmuDevs up for as long as possible, and for us to not pay directly out of our pockets.

I used Adblock, to be fair. It's just on subconsciously for some sites. Instantly unblocked Emudevs when I saw the message.

Just really glad that the ads aren't intrusive and not between every post, that would've made me cringe badly so glad to see you decided to keep them non intrusive. <3

Nice, seems like a good idea though. I haven't really seen any ads honestly. It's not annoying or intrusive, so you have my support! :happy (2):

The only sensible ad you'll see when logged in is the ad on the footer. If you are on ED as a guest you'll see more ads. As for the generator the ad is on the footer no matter what (no other ads to date). On wowdb there's more ads only because it is a pretty big project, but the ads don't get in the way and we'll have some type of donation subscription (not pricey) to hide ads for those who donated.
