Another Tower Defense is no ordinary Tower Defense. The game is built to introduce the strategy genre in a whole different way, including an inventory, achievement and Tower loadout system. Another Tower Defense has many game types: Campaign, Survival, Challenge, and RTS-like game type. Instead of the same old "build a tower here and upgrade it since AI are on a specific path" we've managed to change it up where, instead of most AI being on the same path, AI will have more path options to walk up to your Tower(s) and destroy them. Oh, did we mention that Towers can be destroyed? With towers out of the picture the AI can dominate.

NOTE: Most features are subject to change during development and most textures currently in the game are placeholders until the real textures are made. We only have a few sounds in the game too until more are made.

Environments
With procedurally generated maps, each game should be a different experience. There's a variety of different environments, such as Plains, Snowy, Desert and more environment types. There's also resources: wood and stone. Each environment will introduce different enemy types and not just the same enemies for every different environment you play on. Every environment also has a day & night.

Game Types
Campaign
The campaign takes place in many environments where a King and other characters will guide you through every step of the way to success.

Survival
It is as it sounds. Survival will bring endless waves of different enemies until you have finally given up or died trying.

Challenge
Challenge type will give different goals to master under a time limit or not.

RTS-like
RTS-like has its own style of gameplay, bringing RTS into a Tower Defense. You will need to explore and uncover your resources and enemies, and then manage your own units to attack and dominate your enemy.

Tower Loadout Inventory System
Tower loadout allows you to choose which 5 towers you want to bring with you to a game. You also have different Tower items to choose from. Other Tower Items not in your Loadout can be placed in the Tower Storage to be selected later for use.

Towers
There are many towers to choose from. There's small towers, big towers and towers that help throughout the level by processing resources into arrows and other valuable items. Tower types: Armory, Arrow Tower, Small Arrow Tower and Cannon Tower. More Tower types will be made during development. All towers take a specific amount of time to build based off of resources you have.

Towers can also level up and obtain skill points. With skill points you can increase the Tower stats (accuracy, health, ammo, and more) to make the Tower more deadly.

Tower Abilities
Tower slots will have a level requirement for the Tower to unlock a slot. After unlocking a slot you will be able to click the slot and a new window will appear with 1-50 levels of special abilities at 4 per page. Most abilities will require an Armory near the tower with specific upgrades unlocked. After selecting an ability for the Tower, it cannot be undone and you cannot stack abilities. The best part of this is the longer you wait for the Tower to level, the more (powerful) abilities you will have to choose from.

Armory and Small Arrow Tower
When placing down an Armory or a Small Arrow Tower, the tile will be split into a 4*4 area. In this 4*4 area you will be able to place more small towers that can be placed there. Once filling the 4*4 area with small towers, you will not be able to place anymore in that specific 4*4 tile area.

Armory
The Armory creates arrows and gears for Towers. Gears are required for technology upgrades. However, to make the Armory process you will need a Worker to go and gather the said resources. Once the Armory starts making new arrows or gears, Workers will be able to get the items from the Armory and bring them to Towers in a specific radius of the Armory and restock them. Armory has an upgrade system that allows it to make Fire Arrows, Dual Gears and more -- this also upgrades Towers if you start to process items that a Tower can use.

AI
The AI plays a huge role in Another Tower Defense with being pretty interesting on what they can do. Not only do most AI follow more than one path, they are able to destroy anything in their path. AIs from Medieval pawns, to major bosses that only have one goal: to make you lose. There's different types of AI: Melee, Ranged, Leader and Worker. The AI can also make "sneak attacks" where they dig from a random spot and make their way towards you.

When an enemy AI dies they will spawn a grave. This grave holds valuables you can obtain with a worker.

Worker
Worker AI are workers that gather, restock, repair, scavenge and build. However, workers have low health and can be killed during combat if near enemies.

Leader
Leaders can give enemies morale to deal more damage, move faster and just cause more chaos.

New things the past few days. Another new UI, this should be the last one unless Max (the artist) wants to change it again. Added rock hitting ground explosion, Towers have ammo, catapult launching rock projectile, etc..

To make enemies put up a fight, a defense wall will be in the middle of the road. They have to destroy it to reach the end waypoint.
