4 hours of non-stop action! 2 hours of being turtles and defending our bases at close quarter until we had that specific advantage over the 2 hard CPU. The hard CPU in Company of Heroes 2 is pretty challenging. Took us 4 hours of a nice working strategy to take their asses down, and to top that off we DID! The CPU gets a better advantage than us considering they have increased resources whereas players don't.
We've been trying to think of a nice strategy to win against the hard CPU and we didn't even think we could do it. Though, we didn't have a strategy until we had no choice but to turtle the game for hours, mainly since they had us cornered. What mainly helped us win is when tanks are about to be destroyed they can become abandoned and you can capture the abandoned tank with your men, repair it and start owning. We did that to several of their tanks, especially the Tiger tank (OP tank, especially when it is a 3 star veteran).
I'm Easelm and Faded is, well, Faded.
Warning: A lot of screenshots ahead!
Anyway, enjoy what was the battlefield (screenshots):
But first, I'll show the end game stats:
----
Funny moments:
This is what happens when you have a tank on a half destroyed bridge and artillery hits it before you can get across (note: this is the enemy's tank in the middle on fire):
See the guy downed? Arms and legs around him? Faded detonated a Remote Detonation Explosive and he went flying:
P.S: You can see one of the explosives on the top left corner that hasn't been detonated yet
I threw a Satchel Charge a few feet shy from the enemies, but then they MOVED up closer to the charge when it had a 1.0 second timer left and... 4 men died kaaaaboooom:
P.S: Lol'd at the 666 munition resource

Random artillery holes, debris, etc:
