Um installing forums is pretty easy is it on your localhost ? Or on a dedi?

1.On localhost you will put your forum files in your htdoc folder .
2. go to browser type 127.0.0.1/install.
3. this should start install process. You may need to set your php configs to work on localhost if there not already done.
4. Continue install.

1.On a dedi you need to use a ftp cliant, upload your forum files to your public folder .

2. set your php config files to match your web server,

3. go to browser type in your domain address http//yourdomain/install/ follow install instructions.

Ahh, so basically you want a forum!

Well first of all you will need to find a cms for that forum there are a lot of them out there phpbb, vBulletin, IP.Board, XenForo, Simple Machines Forum, MyBB, and there is a lot more but these are prob the most popular among the internet. Not all of these are free either. However just like fusion cms you install it on your host. Then just change the menu's forum link to your new forums. Of course I am not going to get into the details on how to install any of these its pretty self explanatory. Simple google any of those names and you should be on your way.
