TrinityCore-Multi Making Legion and Wotlk work Together

Hello guys, I am trying to make both Legion and Wotlk (both trinitycore) work on same dedicated server.
Only made some changes to auth db to make it similar to each other but can't seem to make it work.. which begs the question is it even possible?
Has anyone managed to make them both work on same machine?
Thank you for any suggestions/advice/info

p.s. did manage to make wotlk and cata run on same machine once, but this seems way too different :noidea:

Different port for auth and worldserver? :determination:

Simple way to fix that issue, the problem that comes with that will be having two different account systems for registration if the structures are different. The easiest way to solve this would be build an account integration system.

Most gaming companies use this method too one Master Login for each game they host, that's if you want to get tech savvy.

Example:
Master Login (Mainly your email address)
-> Game Account #1
-> Game Account #2

If your password changes on your Master Login, it will apply it too all account linked to your email address. Its the same way what Blizzard did with Battle.net, when they implemented it on the last few months of Wrath the Lich King (12340).

TrinityCore 6.x or 7.x is a good example on how it works. Just have to do some back tracing in the commits for Battle.net system though, since the system is already implemented there.

Its basically linking one account's data to another account. Since doing that kind of system does require you to know SQL and PHP, for the server, C++.

Managed to make em work yesterday, but man is legion buggy as hell and unstable. It is not worth the time and effort. Will take devs at least 3 more years to make it even a little bit playable and not a buggy sandbox. Even latest releases have just: Vanilla-Cata content - BugFest , MOP-Wod is ShittyBox and Legion content is SandBox
:fuckthathshit: better stick to wotlk and mop for now :)
