After a very long time getting Nomsoft prepared, we are finally ready to kick off the company
and register the business. Though, we are looking for help funding in order to file this
registration. We are hoping with the help of the ED community and some self donations, we
will be able to reach this goal! This is needed because we are close to releases/betas!
Don't worry! You're not donating just to help us register, each person who
donates will receive a copy of anything that releases under Nomsoft for free!(So keep in touch)
Ever since we hired on an artist full time, we have made him a partner, so we
have been working on an upcoming game release non-stop. We also have 2 other
game ideas we have been planning out in detail.
About Nomsoft and its Future
Nomsoft started out as a software team in 2010. As a small team of two, we created basic and
mostly private software projects. While posting YouTube videos of game reviews and game play.
It wasn’t until mid 2014 when we decided to make Nomsoft a part of something more, Game
Development and Entertainment. After a while, (of trial and error), we eventually hired an artist.
We are currently in the process of creating fun concepts for unique and exciting games for
gamers around the world.
In this trio there is Randy, who is a Founder and Game Designer. Then we have Tommy, who is a
Founder and our Lead Programmer. Finally there is Lucio, our Lead Artist/Art Director and third
partner of Nomsoft.
There is always “that first game” a company goes through and ours was early last year
unfortunately. Since the experience we have learned where we made our mistakes and
we also took up the opportunity to learn Unity3d and Unreal Engine. We are currently
working on our second game now, which is an indie mystery/puzzle based genre where
escaping is a psychological mind blow.
NOM Entertainment, is our YouTube channel. Here we like to upload game play videos
as well as provide a commentary during recording. During our downtime with game
development, we still like to be productive while having fun. We still do this as much
as we can and plan to grow the channel as much as possible.
Nomsoft finally went live (to the public) this year in 2016. Launching our new website
and publishing our Facebook page. We are determined to take this year by storm. Our
plan is to push our gaming development to the top of the priority list and the news/reviews
right below. If anything, Nomsoft needs a larger staff of authors and video editors for
our articles and Nom Entertainment. We’re also planning to try and hire in another
programmer and web developer.
We are doing this campaign in the hope to raise enough funds to help us take that extra
step we need in to the development world and create top unique games along with
providing the latest gaming news and reviews on other releasing titles. The first thing
we would do is get the company registered so we can ensure all of our released
content is copyright protected. Next we will hire additional staff to add to the
Nomsoft Family. With the protection in place and some new people hired, we should
have no problem pushing out our game design ideas exactly how we imagined them.
Current Game “Distortion”
Distortion has one hell of a story. It all begins with you unconscious and confused on
the floor of a room. You don’t remember how you got there so you explore rooms to
search for answers and realize there is no - way - out. Windows and doors are locked,
sealed, and everything around you looks like it hasn’t been touched in a long time.
Strange events increases your will to escape and search for answers. Every time you
find your way through one room your senses start to fail and you lose your consciousness.
You wake up in a different room each time, which is more twisted than the last room.
As you slowly lose sight of reality, things become more difficult in finding out the truth
in your insane situation.

What does this mean for EmuDevs?
Nothing, ED will still continue as is with full support from its members and staff. This is
why we hired on more higher level staff to help with the day-to-day forum maintenance.
Why should we care to help?
You don't have to help and certainly nobody is forcing you. We are only looking for help
in registering in a timely manner. Considering how long it would take to get filed, we want
to be ready for when the first game is finished.
I don't have money, can I help other ways?
Sure! If you can't help out with donations, you can definitely help by spreading the word
about this thread and donation goal to your friends!

No, this is far from a joke. We have been building up Nomsoft ever since we started it back in 2010.
Why is the donation goal set for a year?
Our donation vBulletin mod only supports monthly and yearly. I wanted to give everyone enough time to consider.
ED Donation says I can only use a Credit Card
