This is a tutorial, however some people can take it as hacking/stealing/exploitation....feel free to remove this thread if you feel it is against your beliefs in fair game(and gain XD), but this should help open people's eyes that simply removing your listfile won't do jack diddly for the most part. There are a few ways around it to make so it's harder to RE-List an Unlisted MPQ file, those things should start to generate in your brain as you play around with this more and more.
I previously had a download link for My listfile that I had made to be able to explore HeroesWoW's Unlisted Patch, People have asked me how I made it and well..... This is one of the many steps one could take to do just that. The MPQ I used in my video as the example was My own unlisted MPQ file from here:
I grabbed the listfiles from 3.3.5a and MoP 5.3.0b.
The MPQ Editor I have is version 3.5.0.719 (32bit), however the latest version from the official website should work fine as well: http://www.zezula.net/en/mpq/download.html
Text version for folks that are smarter than the average leecher...and for those that don't are too afraid to watch a 10 minute video.
Open up Every single MPQ file from 335a and MoP's Installation and extract each (listfile) somewhere(like a new folder with nothing inside of it). After you have them all extracted into a folder. open up the command prompt inside of it and do a COPY * filename.txt , this will output a txt file with all the entries of all the (listfile)'s you had.
open up the Unlisted MPQ, and you can either open with the listfile from the start or add it in Afterwards, to Open it at the start, add it into this box here on the top right of the window(where it says Additional Listfile) when opening up an unlisted MPQ:
Or you can put it in afterwards by Clicking on the Add Listfile Button in the toolbar:
Then Browse over to your text file and open it up.
