I've got a custom and currently working blp file that I'm trying to edit. I've converted, edited, reconverted and patched as required. When I log back into game, I'm getting the green block. I used gimp to edit, I didn't change the size, just changed/blended some color. I'm assuming it's a setting when I'm saving it but not sure, any ideas?

Perhaps the path is wrong via your patch? Green block means it couldn't load the texture (could be more reasons), so I'm assuming that's the case. Can you show your path?

Not at home at the moment, but can later. I extracted the working version from the working patch and replaced it back into the spot I got it from.

Ok, tried to troubleshoot it a little on my end, it seems the conversion from blp to png or vice versa is messing it up. I extracted the file from the mpq, and simply added it back into the mpq, compacted it and it ran fine. I took that same blp, converted it to png, then converted it back to blp without editing it and placed it back in the patch as before, but this time it gave me the green block again. So it has to be the converter. Any suggestions on a good converter?

Thank you, I've got it figured out now. The converter wasn't saving the indexed and alpha channels. Thanks again.
