Editting Stat Values of Spells

So I've managed to modify such things as rend and stuff, but whenever i try to edit the value of lets say Commanding Shout it just reverts to the previous value, I've deleted my cache moved the DBC files over the lot, also creating an MPQ doesn't mask the changes either :/

Not sure on the colums as I used Stoneharry's Spell.dbc editor

Also I heard you can do it in C++ which is more reliable?

Are you sure any script(s) are causing this to happen (if it is coded too?)
