EmuDevs TrinityCore 3.3.5a Eluna WoW Repack

Hi guys, here is another EmuDevs TrinityCore 3.3.5a repack! Only things new is the new TC updates and a few more error fixes. The maps and vmaps are on a separate download. This repack does not come with Apache.

What this repack features:

  • MySQL (FadedSQL ~ The Easy SQL, MySQL version 5.6)
  • Eluna Lua Engine
  • TrinityCore fresh binaries
  • DBC files
  • Full and fresh database
  • A couple of database error fixes ~ There's still quite a few errors left, but people will mostly be using Eluna (half of the errors are related to default TC C++ scripts. Their fault. :p)
  • Comes with script folder
  • Comes with test.lua script. It will print out something special after the Engine loads.


What EmuDevs will do with this repack:

  • Keep everything up to date.
  • More database error fixes

I don't have a full feature list on what it working or what isn't. I'm not going to lie just to get attention anyway. It is pretty much a fresh compile and a fresh database, along with fresh everything!

When running SQL:

Could not find the path specified for sqld

Even though it points to the proper place.

Yes sir I am. And checking processes I see that mysqld is running, but when trying to connect to this or ANY database, throwing access denied for user root@localhost (using password: YES)
And on a remote db, it is echoing my IP, with same error.

I have looked fruitlessly for a fix to this error and cannot find one that says "password is wrong", because I know the passwords I am using are correct. I have shut DOWN my firewalls, and allowed port 3306.

I am not new at emulation, but this is the first time I have run into this error ever. Just 2 days ago I was able to connect to remote and local databases with no problem. I have even reinstalled Heidi and reinstalled ALL sql files and programs I had including workbenches, etc. So I am unsure as to why this is happening. Running on Windows 8, and hating every moment of it.

I can't really pinpoint any issue when you're using Windows 8. I don't recommend using Windows 8 when doing this kind of stuff because a lot of people has issues with it. I tested the repack's MySQL on a few operating systems and it works perfectly.

Yes I think the problem lies in my MySQL SOMEWHERE, I just can't find it.

I will keep checking around.

Anyway thanks for the reply and glad to see you guys are doing great things still.

Thanks, just managed to get this working, a great repack and an excellent way for me to slowly ease myself back into Emulation, thank you very much. :)
Eager to try out Eluna scripts. :)
