Level 1 twink server?

hi all.

i was thinking of makeing a Level 1 twink server whit spells and stuffs. but im not sure if that will get any players, i ahve seen many level 1 twink servers that are down, or should i twink in a other level?

Ill give you a life lesson about games. Kids want to see HUGE numbers pop up across the screen. Which is one reason 255 is such a popular target. Now i am not saying 1 twink is a horrible idea it might get some players but i wouldn't expect a ton of people.

yea i know. its fun to see you do over 33 miljon dmg, but then i needs to be balanced too and thats a bit harder. and still there is to many 255 server up already. but i will see maybe i try maybe not.

Actually 255's biggest issue is the fact you can have 255 talent points and have all 3 specs if you limit that to 71 most of the issues with unbalance are fixed.

I have to agree with toxic everyone likes 255 servers because peole want it all without working for it. our public server is 255 and it maintains players all the time.
If it were blizz like thay would come visit then disapear never to return the big problem is there is tons of 255 servers.
So any server you make needs to be unique and diffrent otherwise it will be like every server out there good luck fellow. :)

ok then. i will make a 255 server. and for the talnts part np i will have wither 61 or 81 i ahve not desided yet.

I have not seen (m)any popular lvl 1 servers. I think for you there is MUCH bigger chance to get players in level 1server instead of level 255 because there are already too much 255 servers out there and you need to be at least that good (even more) to get some population. On other side lvl1 server (i personally don't know any active one of this type) will be something different and interesting, but again you need to make it good.
Actually if you wanna try to make a successful project you need to have something NEW something different which will make one player to choose your server instead other of the thousands currently working private servers. Actually if i have to be honest, now its very hard to make good project because there are all kind of servers running on almost all popular patches, and you need to make something very unique in order to be not the next 3 day server with 5GMs and 0 players.

Anything can get players, only if your ideas are good and unique. As long as there's something to do on your server, players will always keep playing no matter what. Technically, level 1 players can't be twinks, but if you create the gear and systems, it can easily be changed to do so. Set your mind to it and you'll get players.

If you are planning on making a level 1 server be prepared to encounter a lot of annoying issues.

a level 1 server would require a LOT of work as you have to scale EVERYTHING down to match, change requirements, etc
