Hey guys, really sorry if this is the wrong section xD Could someone explain to me how to add custom sounds/music to my server? I managed to get it to show up in the .lookup but it doesn't play anything when I type it (It's most likely the location of the MP3 I have). I know how to put it in my MPQ, I just need to know how to understand this DBC file correctly. :)

I edited Column 2 to "28" as this site said "28 Zone Music", Edited Colums 3 and 4 to the mp3 name (including .mp3) and column 24 has "sound\custommusic". In my WoW Directory, I have the MP3 in WoW/Data/Sound/Custommusic. I also have this DBC in my custom patch.

Normally there is no soundfolder in your datafolder. You need to create a MPQ and insert the sound there.

Oooooooh so I insert the MP3 in the Patch in Sound/Custom ? I just put the DBC in the patch hahah I'll try that. Do I need to change the location from the DBC?

No.
DBC's lookup files from MPQ's, as Kaev already said, so just create a custom patch with those folders and your sound and place it in your WoW/Data folder

I made a new MPQ called "Patch-A.MPQ", inside are the folders "Sound" and "custommusic". Inside is the mp3 and it still doesn't work. it's in my Data folder

Did you correctly make the patch?
I think you need to insert the DBC, and the MP3 files, with appropiate foldernames,
Tho i may be wrong, as i never tried to do this.

Open up the original MPQ files in your wow data folder, look for the sound folder, and then make all the folders from first directory to the sound folder ( Only the ones that's required to get to the sound folder ), then inside your sound folder create custommusic.
