It has been a hectic end/start of the year for Tommy and I. After the 600Mbit/s DRDoS attack
on Christmas and almost up to the new year, we decided to switch servers early. We had already
planned to get a better server in Feb. but the recent attack moved up that priority.

We got switched over the first time at the new dedicated provider only to realize they
didn't give us what we paid for on the server, after we had already moved. So we ended
up moving yet again to another server with the correct specifications.

We are now on a better server running an Intel L5420 Processor and a 1Gbps port with DDoS protection.
We also apologize for all the downtime we have had over the past few weeks. We should be nice and stable now.

I would like to above all thank the donators of EmuDevs. Without the donations, this move would have never happened.
It is a perfect example of what we exactly use donations and revenue for. It always goes back into EmuDevs for further progression.

That was a hell of a way to spend your new years, sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will be better where you now.

I got stupid again, and forgot to say thank you for the time away from your holiday and your families, that we all benefit from.

Well i have to say that you've done pretty good job. I notice one or two short downtimes (maybe because of the different time zone or dunno...), and lose of 1 thread and 3 posts on it. Which is awesome, because it's very hard to switch servers with as much as possible less downtime, and in same time with very small rollback. I would like to say thanks, and keep going!

It's evident that you clearly care about this forum, and whilst you do so... NOBODY shall take down Emudevs. Great work on responding so well, so quickly, and above all, keeping the community informed (which many forums lack the ability to do...)

Whilst you thank donators, I think we should be thanking you guys. Can't get too much better of a staff team! :)

Indeed! During our moving spree, we tweeted a lot on our Twitter just to keep everyone informed. Not that people really go to it. Their fault. :/
