acessing server from my house issue..

So we got our public server up and its running fine theres been tons of people playing .Now i was over at my famaly this weekend and i can access website login play everything works fine wen i come home i cant access anything from my comp and the host comp other people are able to get on without any problems any ideas how to fix this im stumped..

Hmm, what kind of a connection issue are you getting? I don't suppose you've changed your hosts file recently or anything? Might try flushing your DNS. If you could elaborate a bit on the exact issue it's giving you, I or someone else might have a better idea on how to fix it

wen i try to login to game it says cannot conect to server
Nothings been changed in server theres people playing on it now ..
Now i just tested host comp i can access websites using 127.0.0.1.
havnt tested game login yet..

Make sure you aren't blocking the connection. +_+

wait wait wait I'm confused.. so remote/external connections work, it works via localhost on the host machine, but you can not access it from another PC on your home network?
If that's the case, only connect to your host using your internal 192.168.x.x router IP.

If I'm misunderstanding this I'm sorry

This would be correct the host is at my house . I never knew about this because i was tp busy to do anything but this weekend i was over at my famalys hous so i decided to go test some things. so from there i was able to get on play everything required to admin server and websites i come home i cant connect to anything . i can acces websites from host comp i havnt tested game logon yet but its conecting threw 127.0.0.1 to the websites.
So im kinda stumped . richard is trying to figure it out to so im not sure. well i gota work today ty guys.

So then did you try connecting to it via internal IP? It is the most logical way to connect to other PCs on your home LAN

yah i can still run things from the host wow game login works to it just wont connect from my other laptop wen im at home so its cool ill just run things from host comp untill i figure it out. Ty again for your sapport guys your all awsome
