EmuDevs WoW Server Closed Beta Testing [How to get invited]

Hello everyone, I decided to make this thread because in 2 weeks (hopefully 2 weeks) there will be enough content for players to test and report bug issues to us so we can get them fixed. The reason why we're doing a BETA is because I want everything to be as perfect as they can be on server launch. The reason for a closed BETA is I don't want random people on our server that doesn't want to help report. I get if you want to come on and play, but reporting issues you come across is important. The test will be ongoing..

Now, here is how you can get invited:

INVITATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be level 5 or greater on EmuDevs. This is because I want people who will test be apart of EmuDevs for reporting bugs since we will have a section for it soon.
  • EmuDevs donators can enter any time, they do not have a requirement.

Account creation will be private, you will need to send an email to me entitled:

[YOUR_FORUM_USERNAME - EmuDevs Server Beta Testing]
* Supply the username and password you want

For example:

Tommy - EmuDevs Server Beta Testing
Username: Tommy
Password: 332AWDui(*

Characters will be deleted each beta, your account will not be deleted.


Information regarding the server features will be posted soon. I want to keep the server information quiet until I post thread about it. Hope you guys will enjoy this, it will be here as I mentioned in 2 weeks, hopefully not more than 2 weeks.

so anfair i think you need to have more realistic things, i undersand that you want to have ppl but this req are bad in my opinion. i son't know, qill not flame or anything but its SUPER hard to level here and there is noway new ppl can get to level 5 in 2 weeks..... just saying you do as you whis you server.

i have not even heard of a server crating on this site, what is is blizzlike fun server semi-blizzlike, ALL BM, twink or instant.

not to flame here. If you say blizzlike then it BAD its so badmn but so yea, i say when even try? for me there is molten wow there is blizzlike why even try to make a blizzlike server? and still i wonder what is so fun about blizzard wow? that one sucks... we have already playd it. i thought/think cuz we have this think where we can make our own server why not make it something diffrent from blizzard.
that whould be the reason to make a server otherwsie we can play molten wow are pay for the some shit^^

if not blizzlike in intressted in hearing about it.

How is it unfair? I don't want people outside of EmuDevs to be invited if they aren't apart of it. How is it hard to level? Post, be active, contribute, view threads and do more to earn points to level. The reason why we have this point system is because we didn't want a system that could be abused. The reputation system was so exploitable, it was pointless to keep on this website or vBulletin for that matter.

How does this pertain to the level requirements you're complaining about? Unless you're thinking that I'm not making a unique server? Is that it? Well, you're in for a huge surprise, my friend.

If you don't like the level requirements, that's fine. I'm not changing it though. Like I said, I want members of this forum to participate, not random people who isn't apart of this community (hence the closed beta portion).

I know you're expressing your opinion, you don't have to mention that you aren't flaming. :p

You can level to 20 in 2 weeks if you're active enough. There are many ways to earn points, especially with events.
There are plenty of people on here that have reached beyond that level in less than a week.

Besides the fact, we want people who are active to enter the beta test, because of the fact they are active. Why
would we let anyone join who is around once or twice a week?


Saying it just to say it, no this is not blizzlike or anything close to what you've seen on a private server. Like Tommy said, you're in for a surprise.

ok then i try. but i did not say you where makeing a blizzlike i just said my thougts if you where. but as i know you can make c++ and lua scripts and really good at it, i whould not be so supride if you where going blizz, but i understand that you are going fun and semiblizz cuz you can script and what not^^

Well, let me put it this way. It isn't a Blizzlike server and it isn't a Funserver. That's all I'm mentioning right now about EmuDevs WoW server.

I get level 20 in two months... Only by posting, being active, and joining events. I would say that the leveling is too easy but i understand that this is because there should be some kind of balance between the active user base and how easy to level up. Also if you ask me level 5 is too low requirement, but again same think about balance is applying.

ok i see. it sounds like an intressting project^^ i hope i can get ot level 5 and see if i can be a beta tester if not i just ave to wait.
