[SOLVED] Got an odd question about creature spawning.

I have no idea where to put this, so I'm most likely putting it into the wrong spot. But I figured what I'm wondering about would require core scripting, I'd ask it here.

But would anyone know if it's possible to spawn a creature in the same place of your toon but still be controlled by the player along with their character? And whenever their toon jumps or attacks or what ever action, the spawned creature will follow the same actions if it has them. Basically like how morphing yourself into a creature would work, except you still retain your original character.

As to why anyone would bother with this is probably very low and non existent. But I reckon it'd be an easier way to go about adding in new types of armors, gear, and clothing. Such as my clothing mod I had done which required me to remove three existing geometry layers(cape and robe geosets and a hairstyle) to fit in the new clothing.

And if this could be accomplished, I would be making the clothing a creature instead of an internal geometry set of the character model, that way existing equipment wouldn't be lost because of the mod.

I'd like to be able to put something like this set of clothing in:

It is very possible to do this I would think. Plenty of ways to spawn the creature -- you could even have the player spawn the creature to have easy control how the creature interacts.

Having the NPC etc moving exactly at same speeds etc to everyone and the player is probably .. hmm .. not looking that great - jump lag and so on.
Also random movements of the character would possibly be impossible to be followed server side.

On Mop/wod there is similar thing on a goblin start quest, however I think its a spell visual handled completely on client side.
Possibly you could try the same or something similar?
The way it works is that you have an item or a spell that adds a ghost image of a troll kind model that moves with you etc.

I figured since Anthony does his own client side edits (etc) he wouldn't have much of an issue accomplishing this. I'm also sure nobody has forgotten lag here either.
