Hello Emudevs!

I have been looking at Ac-web for some days now but with no luck trying to find a working in-depth tutorial on how to make a haste cap on Trinity core 3.3.5a / 4.x

I have been looking at Jamey's tutorial but with no luck:

What's wrong with Jamey's tutorial? Are you having trouble understanding it or? I only edited the haste on ArcEmu, not TrinityCore. I find this 'haste cap' quite pointless, lots of questions about it, barely anything logical that would be relevant in a working 'haste cap'.

I'll have to agree with what tommy says, Sure at a time, this sounded somewhat logical to those that are new to the emulation scene or those that are players from any haste based servers(such as the chinese Eternion-WoW/Mond-WoW/Undamed-Wow Etc.), however it's quite retarted to bother lowering it. Instead, just make items with higher haste stats... How hard is that? To just make items that give you like I dunno.. 8000 haste when the cap at the max level is by default 65535(0xFFFF).

If you're going to complain about the socket gems not having enough haste to even bump that cap... then change them. go into your dbc files and modify them.

Well I kinda agree with you.
I know the haste cap is set for a reason but I'm not a fan of OP stats 20m+ hp and such.
And I have tried to follow Jamey's tutorial but with no luck.
I was hoping any could make a complete idiot safe guide.

Instead of bothering with guides, go and properly learn C and C++ first, then try to translate other folk's guides to your own projects afterwards. To Properly Learn C++, I would recommend you learn C first. Also do not look for anything related to WoW or Gaming, Learn general C and C++ and the daily uses for them as they are used for other things that I can't even begin to list. A little bit of Visual Basics can go quite a ways as well.

This will not be an overnight ordeal, it can take up to two months, but you know what will happen to you after two months? You'll come back and smash through Jamie's tutorial like it's nothing and probably re-translate it into a tutorial that may be more idiot safe than his. Goodluck.

Secondly you don't need to make high as hell stats. just make the haste stat high. And tell your audience why that is the only stat that is high and the others are relatively low. Just because you make an item with 8000 haste doesn't mean you need to make all the other stats 8000. If you really want to build a server, you need to start believing in yourself and getting your audience to see your views and concepts as well.
