how can I know color code

How can I know what html color code used someone on his private server for his custom world channel for example, for example he uses |cff00FF00 but I dont know that he uses that color, is there any addon to check that? Dont tell me of photoshop because it aint get the real color code

The best way i found to do it is to print screen it open in photoshop zoom in a lot and color pick it if u want show me a picture and i will do it for you.

damn I did one time with prat to see the html colro codes ingame but I dont remember how

If his is |cff00FF00 then the hex is #00FF00

You can try what was mentioned earlier, and print screen.. then paste your screen into photoshop, then click the color palette and use the dropper to click on the said color.
Whatever the hex is, just use |cff in front of it on the script

Make an addon, add hooks until you find where the message is printed (officer, broadcast, custom channel etc), then replace | (alt-124) with something else using string.gsub and print it. Easy.

Thing is that the color code printed by wow might be slightly altered by the client. So that PS wouldn't find the same one. And for that matter, gimp is easier unless you're doing pro things ;P
