How on earth do you get dynamically flying birds?

Hi all, for the life of me this one I am not able to figure out.

If you go to GM Island, Darnassus, or Zul'Aman (among many others) you will see birds flying around.

I've determined (I think) they are not able to be created by a spell, looked through QTSpellwork to see if there was any, also looked through MyWarcraftStudio but couldn't find anything.

I have been spamming .lookup object to no success, to see if it's a game object. E.G 184730 spawns some carrion flies that fly around.

I can't find anything for birds. I even spammed .gob near 100 around the birds yet it can't find them.

So that being said, does anyone have ANY idea how to do this?

I want to be able to spawn birds in zones that are missing them upon server start.

Thanks.

well, there is few ways to solve this, create npc and script his path ways or add them as moving WMO objects.
i would go with npc path ways, easier and can be more dynamic. :) simply make them friendly for both factions and that's it.

Hi, Thanks for the response :)

My only concern about waypoints is that e.g. on Nightbane, in his movement generator, we can see his paths are "jerky" when he moves around, like instead of transitioning from point A --> B --> C in nice clean angles, he will follow a straight line between A, B, and C.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14RAgHNW6i0&feature=youtu.be&t=1m5s

Look at the birds in this room, they fly very eloquently, which I don't know is possible with waypoints. On my server, these birds are missing, they aren't even in the zone at all. So the room is just empty (except for mobs).

Any idea about this problem specifically?

Cheers!

How i said they might be WMO objects. But im not sure about that 100% you can try check the wmos in editor. but thats only a guess so don't take it as a grant.

Sure, I should check WMO's in MyWarcraftStudio - or can you suggest any better tool?
Also, do you have a link for 2.4.3? Mine is outdated and as such, a large majority of the models don't show up - rather they show up as a green circle.

Thanks!

Edit: I found it using model viewer.
bird01.m2

Do you know how I can add this dynamically in the game?
Thanks.

I will suggest you take some time and look thru Tok124 customizes like --> http://emudevs.com/showthread.php/4681-Deathwing-1H-Sword-Model

in that thread he will discuss how to apply a display id to a model graphic .m2 and skin files so it can be used as a display id for items but it may help you in the right direction with npc/go files.
he has other threads where has made custom graphixs for items you may find info that could help.
