[SOLVED] MySQL not working

I downloaded the Eluna repack Tommy made; but when I try to use it, I cant access the portable mySQL with HeidiSQL, nor can the authserver or worldserver (yeah, i clicked MySQLstart, nothing else uses that port and it doesnt work). Everytime I try to, I get an error box that says the following: "SQL error 2003 can't connect to mysql server on '127.0.0.1' 10060" I've tried to do anything, even reinstalling HeidiSQL and re-downloading the repack, but it's useless. Do any you know why am I getting that error and how can I fix it? If it's of any use, I use Windows 8.

Does that repack use the FadedSQL stand alone?

So when you double click the MySQL-Start.bat, does the window stay up or just close?

UPDATE: The issue is my pc, since I can use the repack in other computers and I cant use HeidiSQL no matter what SQL db im trying to access

Everyone who has issues with the MySQL not working, it is on your side because there's nothing wrong with it at all.

Main things you need to know:

(Which you partially mentioned)
Make sure no other MySQL server is running
Nothing is using port 3306

Are you sure HeidiSQL is for Windows 8 just yet? Since that is causing your problems. Honestly, you shouldn't upgrading Operating Systems until most of everything supports it.

I could use HeidiSQL just fine a few months ago with Windows 8, I just dont know what happened, I had to restore my pc because of avast (bitch is hard to uninstall) and since then nothing from my computer can connect to a DB

I deleted Microsoft SQL server from my computer's program list, if it's related to that, it wouldnt surprise me at all.

Right Click your Taskbar (Or press Ctrl + Alt + Delete) -> Start Task Manager -> Click the "Processes" tab and look for 'mysqld.exe'
