New Category "Terraria"

Hello guys, I'm proud to present our new category on EmuDevs list "Terraria".

Almost a week ago we "Foereaper, Faded, Laurea and I" decided to go about making Terraria better code wise and custom wise. Our main goal is to clean up the nasty source, make it easy to add custom content and optimize world generation. We have data files (DBC) that you can edit to make it easy for you to add your very own custom content without editing the source.

The source won't be released; however, that's why we are making it very easy to add your own content to the game.


So far we have:

• "HUGE" world generation
• Planet world generation
• DBC files to easily edit anything

Our Goals:

• A lot of texture edits (Npcs, UI, etc)
• New NPCs and possibly new planet types so we can have Alien worlds :3
• Items, Auras (Buffs), Tiles and more into DBC files
• Code optimization
• More will be added later..

We'll keep everyone posted on how everything is going! Hope you enjoy our addition to Terraria, hell, we might release it as our own game considering a lot (I mean a lot) of the code doesn't belong to the original creators and we can update the sprites too. Enjoy!

It doesn't take internet bandwidth to generate a world on terraria =P

ya,that's why it sounds perfect so i can make some more cool things,
can i use the client to 127.0.0.1 so i can see the things.

What are you talking about? The client is a client that handles single player playing and multiplayer, has nothing to do with connecting to localhost without a server. >.>

Stop commenting, you're getting worse by the minute.
