Hey,

im runing freshly compiled 4.3.4 core with latest tdb on windows server 2012 r2.

I no one can connect to my server, because services can not be seen trough ports 8085 and 3724.
Ports are opened on firewall, there is no router.
Opened ports (like 80) can be seen when i turn on apache, but not when apache isnt runing, http://www.canyouseeme.org/ says that they can see service or not.

BUT with port 3724, they cant see my service, even when auth server is on.
Everything is configured same like 80 port.

Well, 3724 port is open, but service is not detected.

Any ideas whats wrong?

Ports are usually only seen open when the service is running if it cant be seen while it is running then it is most not port forwarded. I would help you more but i don't have enough info to say there is your problem. So trial and error buddy :p

Hmm, but i opened them in same way like i did with 80 port.

Im trying to fix this for two days and nothing...

Well there really isn't much we can do. Perhaps contact your host provider and request them to open the ports for you?

If you're doing this from home, are you sure there isn't a router? Or is Only your PC plugged directly into your modem?

In my country, modems are outdated, no ISP are using them.
I tried with my router connected, and cable connected directly to PC.
Everything seems same, 80 port is opened without any problem, but server ports are closed.

Modems are outdated? You wanna explain how you're receiving your internet then? And I thought you said you had no router, now you have one? #confused.

You will have to call your ISP then to have it opened from their side.
I did, the saidd they block only one port: 4445, nothing else.

Last time i saw modem, was 2006-2007. We mostly use fiber optic cable transfered internet or wireless. Cheap as hell and speed is pretty good, i have 100mbps plan. Router is optional, i dont want to complicate situation, because i test everything without it.

Sorry, this makes absolutely no sense to me. If you don't have a 'modem' which still exists
everywhere, and you don't have a router, then your internet is just showing up out of no where?

What are your cables connecting to? Is this just wireless? Are you stealing the wireless? Do you rub a lamp and the internet turns on?

Please be more specific.

Lol. 1 simple fiber optics cable, comes to my flat from stairway, in cellar should be ISP server, wich is connected to even bigger server somwhere. Thats it.

I dont steal naything right now, i dont use router or modem.
Its simple as it sounds.

So you're sharing internet with your building?

Nope, i get different IP and full 100 mb/s speed.

Then if you have a router, plug it back in and forward the ports directly on the router. If you can't do that
then have your ISP fwd the ports on your IP, I do not understand this LAN setup of yours. It sounds like the
server in the cellar is the modem/switch for the dedicated lines.

I have tried to forward ports with router but nothing, ill try to call isp one more time...

Yeah.. I mean.. if you're getting your internet directly like that.. then by all logic the ports would just open while the service ran, wouldn't need to fwd them.
I know you've added them to your firewall, but have you tried disabling the firewall all together?

Yeah, thats first thing i tried, same thing.

Maybe its windows server 2012 r2? Because they run on same core as win 8, maybe they are incompactible or something, its my first time trying them.

Server 2012 shouldn't make the difference, unless you have a server role controlling it. Did you try turning off the firewall? Antiviruses if you have any?
