What is it with developers randomly blocking you

So I wanted to post this to know if any other server owners out there come with this problem,its happened to me twice in the last two months. I get a request on Skype saying there a c++ dev. I add them,we talk for a few days they dont do any work like they say they will then bam random block in the middle of the conversation.What I don't get is why they block me even though I said im willing to pay.Its just confusing how there all happy with you then bam. What are your thoughts.Thanks

Because they aren't really C++ developers. They are probably only limited on what they can do and block you because they are scared.

Tell me what you need and I'll consider it.

As the project leader of The Spurious Team, I was always getting request from people that sounded all hyped up to help, but then once you let them in they would do nothing at all toward the project. I usually got blocked after I kicked them from the team for not even trying to work on the project.

I get the feeling that some of them just want to be able to brag they are on a project, even though they do not contribute.

Ther're probably morons that know the basics of C++ and want to brag about being in a project. Once you want more than they can tackle with their basic skills, they block you.
I want to be in a project myself, but don't even know the basics of C++ yet, lol. Once I educate myself in it, I will start to help out.

I agree with the above statements. They just like to brag and big themselves up. When the time comes for them to give examples or whatever they poop and run a mile. I've met so many people like that. I was looking for a project leader for my 4.3.4 realms, had a few interviews with ppl on vent / skype, and when the time come for them to give examples of work / experience they mysteriously vanish. F****ng kids.... Oh well lol
