WoW servers and the new generation of server owners

To be honest, this thread shouldn't really pertain to server owners but the players too. Someone can have a beautiful server with unique content and it can be ignored by players going to a server with no unique content & no scripts tied to any mobs, and players will play that more than a great server. I don't get players. That may have changed over the years since everyone has gotten into map/dbc editing, but who knows.

What? I didn't ask what the thread was about because it is obvious, I was just pointing out it should be about the new generation of players too, mainly since they aren't all that great either.

Players are only passive protagonists. They just adapt to what they are offered.

If only I could believe that if I didn't witness players choices the past years. It is not a misconception and it never will be. Nobody truly has a great understanding about players and their decisions to play on a server. Most players go for the highest server population, unique content, no content whatsoever, low population, pay to win and many other reasons for them to choose at random. Players nowadays are pretty bad and have a horrible taste in server choosing (practically started after TBC).

I look for something around 4-6 hours before i start asking for help, and if i get help then thats great and i thank that person, but if i don't get it i don't really care, it means i just need to try to solve it myself while waiting for a respone.

Also it's faster to ask for help than spending hours on trying to fix one thing that was infront of your eyes and you learn it untill next time.


But this generation is fcking retarded and it is becoming more retarded every day. Doesn't matter where, it happends everywhere.
