As many of you may know, Faded and I have been very busy working on new stuff for our community. Despite everything, we still want our community to grow. As you may know, we don't allow private server advertising on EmuDevs, or any advertising for that matter. Well, that's about to change! The rules will still stand on advertising on the forums. Don't let that confuse you.

What's new?

EmuDevs Topsite​

Advertise your private server or other stuff on EmuDevs Topsite! This was made to advertise your projects, servers, etc. Just to be clear, the banner portion of the topsite is being tested. That means it will be free until further notice. The topsite is under heavy maintenance, but is still very functional. Try it out, test it and report back if anything occurs.

  • Add a site
  • Comment on a site listed
  • Rate a site listed
  • Recommend a site listed

Rules on the topsite is very clear. No spamming.​

EmuDevs Reviews​

Write reviews about any private server or even a game. Just like the topsite, the review site is under heavy maintenance but is still very functional. Try it out, test it and report back. The review site was done to bring more content to EmuDevs related to emulation. Right now the review categories are limited, but there will be more soon enough.

These were written from scratch. Faded did the topsite (with a little help from me) and I did the review site (with help from Faded). Just like the generator site was done from scratch. The look is plain and simple, just like our website is in general.

What's great about this is that you don't have to make a new account on any of the new sites. All you need to do is register on ED (if you haven't) or login with your EmuDevs account information and have at it! Later on we'll have special info under your avatar regarding your topsite or review(s).

Hope you guys enjoy this. We worked very hard to get these going for you guys!

is there a wait time for the topsite ?.. I entered my info for my server, but I didn't get a response of "complete" or "error" when I submitted my info.
and yes frigin awesome job looks great :D :rockon:

There shouldn't be. I honestly don't see the button to add your site, unless I'm blind here. Once Faded comes online he can tell you what's up.

ermm had an issue..

since I took the non-profit route I used dyndns.com for ip forwarding.
on the second try I added the banner I forgot too add the first time ...duh grrr facepalm.
but it didn't show the "could not insert site for validation." altho my site didn't show up in the top list either lol Absolutely no rush guyz I know your busy as it is so when you get to it you'll get to it no prob :D.

It's not a problem, that's why we kinda made a post about the sites so people can try it out and we can work out the bugs. I know the addsite
and whatnot was working a long with everything else when Tommy posted this. So I'll see what's up with it since I'm still working on it anyway :p

btw, your resolution must be small as hell for the nav to crunch

its just a silly little icon for a servers voting page . each voteing button would have that vote sites icon.

Yeah, I have a rating system but have not added the vote system to it yet, though the rating I have is kind of that same thing.
Either case, I welcome more ideas and thoughts. Hoping to have a really nice topsite coded by the time it's completed.

I'll get a "EmuDevs Toplist" button made for people to use externally.
