Hey guys,
I'm trying to make my server public, I was able to play on it but my friends weren't able so I checked this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wD7sw64J82Q And I have done everything that the guy did in the video, except for port forwarding that I'm not able to do. Every time I try to save the settings after port forwarding, I loose my internet conection and the operation fails.

When you save, it's probably set to restart your router, since you need to regardless. Can you screenshot your port forwarding page for us? You could be doing something wrong. Allot of people insert the wrong IP when forwarding.

By the way, the image that I sended is wrong, it's not the port forwarding it's virtual servers, in prot forwarding i have a UDP box under the TCP one

ports:
Code:
80 Both Http
443 Both HTTPS
3306 Both Sql port
3724 Both Realmlist port
3443 Both RA port
7878 Both SOAP port
8085 Both Realm ports 8085 - xxxx

Both == UDP/TCP

also make sure you have you external ip in your realm list up-to-date
and configs
and hosts file

Then send the right screen shot. If you're losing connection while attempting to forward, then you're doing it incorrectly.

can you access it thru a local lan address?
i.e. 192.168.0.xxx
also noticed your router is ip'd 192.168.0.1 . does this position allow for a '0' ? mine is 1.1 for the primary then the secondary is 2.1

you must be hardwired to a router.... cant use WIFI to change settings. it is a security feature...

oh yea hard wire is the only way to go other than fiber. but a wifi connected server could probably melt down the router.
lol I've burned up a card and a router using wifi for non-stop torrent downloads rofl

Why in the world are you adding a port range when it's the same port?

Don't do 3306-3306, just do 3306. then add all ports as TCP & UDP.
Also, if you're on a home connection then forwarding 80 and 443 are pointless. Remove them

You can change router settings via Wifi if you're logged in. If it's a 'security feature' for you, then it's an enabled option in your router.
Not allowing local wifi connected pc's to change router settings is illogical. What if you only had wifi?

It will work fine as long as you're logged in as an admin.
